Imperative Chemical Partners is seeking a skilled Billing Team Leader to join our organization. This role is essential for overseeing our billing operations and ensuring accuracy in invoicing processes.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Billing Team Leader is responsible for guiding and managing the billing personnel, ensuring that tasks are coordinated effectively, and resolving any challenges that may arise. This position demands a high level of professionalism and discretion, particularly when interacting with senior management and external clients. Collaboration with various departments is crucial to maintain up-to-date billing information and address any issues that could impact other areas of the business. Additionally, this role includes administrative responsibilities such as generating invoices and maintaining accurate records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrate initiative and strong analytical skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently, delegate responsibilities, and ensure accountability.
  • Guide the billing team to meet deadlines and ensure the production of precise invoices.
  • Possess advanced knowledge in customer invoicing.
  • Maintain a detail-oriented and organized approach.
  • Provide training and mentorship to billing staff.
  • Proactively seek improvements in billing processes.
  • Uphold organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to requests for information from other departments.
  • Address customer needs effectively.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage workflow in a dynamic environment.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and team-building capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A High School diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent management experience in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with NetSuite, OpenInvoice, Cortex, and other relevant B2B platforms.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Completion and passing of all necessary pre-employment screenings are mandatory.
