We are seeking an experienced and skilled Culinary Leader to join our team at PopStroke as a Kitchen Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision. They will also be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with our brand's culinary vision.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering, receiving, and storage of food and supplies to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
  • Staff Supervision: Lead and develop a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent performance and high morale.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Cost Control: Manage labor, food, and supply costs to achieve budgetary targets and optimize profitability.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and execute events and functions, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a kitchen management role, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Culinary Education: Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of culinary professionals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Outlook Calendar.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
