They should have a wealth of experience engaging with both direct clients and agencies, supported by a strong network of established relationships. The successful applicant will exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset coupled with outstanding negotiation and relationship management skills. They will be adept at nurturing long-term partnerships with clients and agencies, showcasing a strategic approach to identifying new business prospects and adapting to shifting market conditions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forge and sustain robust relationships with media, marketing, creative, content, experiential, and public relations agencies.
  • Act as the primary liaison and trusted consultant for client and agency partners, comprehending their business goals and customizing solutions to fulfill their requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with client and agency partners to uncover opportunities for joint growth.
  • Maintain consistent communication and follow-up to deliver exceptional service and cultivate enduring partnerships.
  • Formulate a comprehensive revenue growth strategy.
  • Identify and pursue new business avenues within agencies, aiming to boost revenue and expand market presence.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis and remain informed about industry trends to spot emerging opportunities and potential collaborators.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to engage and attract new agency clients, utilizing insights into their challenges and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client specifications.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of client projects and campaigns, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators to assess partnership effectiveness and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to devise innovative solutions that align with agency objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to partners, offering insights and recommendations to advance their business interests.
  • Participate in industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to represent the organization and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of eight to ten years of sales experience in the advertising, media, or entertainment sectors, with a focus on developing client partnerships.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing strategies.
  • Experience in making tactical decisions and guiding investments based on long-term objectives and contemporary factors.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive environment.
  • A vast network of contacts and relationships with advertising and marketing clients and agencies, with a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach, capable of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for business growth.
  • Prior experience with festivals, conferences, live events, or branded content is advantageous.

SALARY RANGE: $150,000-200,000
