As a key member of our child care team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children, facilitating engaging activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our young guests.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Service Preparation: Arrive 15-20 minutes prior to an event or service to prepare the room and organize activities and curricula.
- Child Care and Supervision: Nurture and care for children while parents are in service or attending an event, ensuring their basic needs are met and providing comfort when needed.
- Classroom Management: Supervise older children, engage them in activities, and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Communication and Reporting: Communicate room needs to the onsite coordinator or Vox Church Director and report any incidents or problem behaviors.
- Age and Qualifications: Must be 18 years old or older.
- Skills and Characteristics: Positive, energetic, flexible, servant-hearted, engaging teacher, and calm under pressure.
The physical demands of this position require the ability to sustain activity and may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
