Accounting and Office Administration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounting and Office Administration Specialist to oversee and manage our financial documentation and office operations. Your role will involve the meticulous preparation and review of financial statements for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather essential financial information for accounting purposes
- Calculate and log numerical data accurately
- Verify the correctness of financial transactions
- Conduct data entry using QuickBooks and perform various administrative tasks
- Ensure timely filing of relevant business taxes including sales, liquor, personal, and corporate taxes
- Execute additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting principles
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent organizational capabilities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Self-motivated and proactive
