Position Overview

As a vital member of the **Administrative Support Team** within the Division of Public Works, you will play a key role in assisting with the development, planning, coordination, and execution of various administrative and financial tasks. Your responsibilities will include utilizing relevant systems for precise database management, conducting research and analysis, all while operating under general supervision.

  • Pay Grade: 48
  • Salary is commensurate with experience and education

Essential Qualifications

1. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in administrative roles such as accounting, procurement, grants management, or auditing.

2. A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.

3. A combination of pertinent education and/or experience is acceptable.

4. Documentation of education, training, and/or experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-level administrative assistance to the Division Director, Finance Manager, and Policies & Procedures Officer.
  • Organize, schedule, and coordinate activities within the Public Works Division Office.
  • Support program audits to assess financial performance and adherence to policies.
  • Manage financial and procurement functions for the division.
  • Assist with human resources tasks, including payroll and personnel policies.
  • Contribute to budget preparation and oversight.
  • Compile standard reports and maintain organizational documentation.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
