Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes Metabolism at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat complex health problems in individuals, families, or communities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to prevent illness and injury, maintain wellness, and provide comfort.
  • Perform advanced nursing interventions, including clinical decision-making and prioritization of activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility.
  • License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the specialty area in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Prescriptive authority when required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a RN, with a preference for academic healthcare experience.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program specific to the area of practice.
