We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and diagnose complex patient conditions, developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and promote optimal health outcomes.
- Participate in clinical research and evidence-based practice initiatives to improve patient care and advance the field of nursing.
- Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare staff on various aspects of patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligibility.
- License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Prescriptive authority when required.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a RN, with preference for experience in academic healthcare or advanced practice nursing roles.
