Key Responsibilities

The role entails physical activities such as prolonged sitting and standing, as well as the capability to lift and handle items weighing up to 25 pounds.

  • Delivering classroom, laboratory, and clinical training to designated students.
  • Employing the institution's Curriculum Guide to structure instructional plans.
  • Creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Designing, preparing, and executing instructional activities that promote active learning through various educational methods and community resources.
  • Managing clinical placements in healthcare facilities and community clinics that align with course objectives.
  • Introducing students to clinical environments and overseeing their healthcare experiences.
  • Collaborating with clinical mentors as needed in community healthcare settings.
  • Conducting debriefing sessions and post-clinical evaluations.
  • Striving to meet the educational requirements of each student.
  • Assessing student progress through diverse evaluation methods in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings.
  • Maintaining precise records of student achievements and sharing relevant information with coordinators and faculty.
  • Providing academic guidance and counseling to enhance educational development.
  • Actively participating in the formulation, execution, and assessment of the nursing education program's philosophy and objectives.
  • Engaging in the design, implementation, teaching, evaluation, and revision of the nursing curriculum.
  • Assisting in the development and assessment of policies regarding nursing student admission, progression, retention, and graduation.
  • Facilitating opportunities for student and graduate feedback on curriculum and program effectiveness.
  • Participating in faculty meetings and serving on committees as required.
  • Promoting the nursing profession by exemplifying professional standards.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To meet the licensing criteria, candidates must possess a valid RN license and demonstrate a minimum of two years of full-time nursing experience within the last five years. A graduate from an accredited nursing program is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
