We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial mortgage advisor to enhance our thriving lending team. The successful candidate will possess a robust network of real estate and lending institution connections, a solid understanding of market dynamics, and a history of effectively aligning lenders with suitable mortgage solutions for clients.
Compensation:$120,000
Key Responsibilities:- Gather necessary documentation to assess creditworthiness, including background checks, credit history, income verification, and asset and liability confirmation.
- Establish and nurture referral partnerships with real estate professionals and maintain relationships with mortgage lenders, while keeping abreast of current lending rates and industry developments.
- Facilitate a seamless mortgage experience by collaborating with the borrower's real estate agent, mortgage professionals, and financial institution underwriters.
- Conduct comprehensive interviews to identify each applicant's specific lending or refinancing requirements.
- Advise applicants and home buyers on various loan options, the buying or refinancing process, potential lenders, and lending criteria.
- Proficient in advanced computer applications, including MS Office and loan origination software.
- Self-sufficient with strong communication, analytical, and time-management abilities.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage loan origination or as a loan officer is required.
- Current NMLS licensure or certification from the National Association of Mortgage Brokers is mandatory.
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage products and the loan process from initiation to closing.
