Our client service and sales support teams across the organization exemplify a proactive approach, equipped with a unique ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Divisions and Functions:

It is essential to note that the divisions and functions listed are representative of common opportunities for this skill set. The list is not exhaustive, and the availability of open roles is determined by business needs. Specific roles will be confirmed through the interview process.

Operations is fundamental to the success of Goldman Sachs. For every agreement made, every new product introduced, or market entered, and every transaction finalized, it is Operations that facilitates the flow of business. The Operations division collaborates with all sectors of the firm to provide banking, sales and trading, and asset management services to clients globally. In addition to this critical service delivery role, Operations ensures essential risk management and control, safeguarding and enhancing the firm's assets and reputation. Operations encompasses all product lines and markets.

  • Investment Banking Division Operations: Responsible for all operational functions within the Investment Banking Division, supporting all product flows and providing effective oversight for the firm's Investment Banking strategy.
  • Global Markets Division Operations: Offers client onboarding assistance, post-trade transaction services, and post-trade portfolio management for the Securities Division. Our Client Coverage Group manages key client relationships to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Consumer & Investment Management Division Operations: Provides comprehensive operational support to Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Private Wealth Management, and Ayco businesses, covering service delivery and processing functions throughout the trade and client lifecycle.
  • Investing and Lending Operations: Manages front-to-back trade support, client service functions, and loan servicing throughout all stages of a loan for the Investing & Lending businesses, including Bank Loans, Mortgage Loans, and the Merchant Bank Division.
  • Operations Risk Management: Oversees the development and implementation of the division's risk framework, including monitoring key controls, management reporting, risk metrics creation, and training programs. Our Embedded Risk Managers collaborate closely with line teams to enhance risk and control transparency.
  • Regulatory and Control Operations: Ensures the integrity of the firm's records and compliance with global client money, regulatory, and tax reporting obligations.
  • Treasury Services: Provides payment processing, liquidity management, cash management, and banking relationship services for institutional, retail, and corporate clients, as well as firmwide flows.
  • RIA Custody Brokerage Operations: Responsible for operational support for the firm's expanding RIA Custody business, which offers execution, clearing, and custodial services to Registered Investment Advisors serving institutional and high-net-worth clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interest in client service.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to handle highly confidential/sensitive information discreetly.
  • Series licensing may be required depending on the role.
