Key Responsibilities of a Mortgage Advisor at Lions Capital Mortgage, Inc.

The Mortgage Advisor position plays a vital role in proactively reaching out to potential residential mortgage clients and expanding a strong network of referrals in the industry.

  • Originate sales by reaching out to prospective clients and establishing long-term relationships.
  • Develop and sustain referral sources through strategic partnerships and networking.
  • Allocate time outside the office for loan origination activities, including meetings with clients at various locations.
  • Utilize a mixture of in-person and remote communication with clients to ensure timely and effective loan processing.
  • Acquire necessary credit information and documentation for applications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Engage in marketing activities to boost sales and promote the company's services.
  • Cultivate relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and financial advisors to expand the company's network.
  • Stay up-to-date on mortgage industry trends and products, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and support staff for timely loan closings, ensuring a seamless experience.

Requirements:

  • Active NMLS License with 2+ years of Self-Gen mortgage origination experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
  • Familiarity with mortgage procedures and regulations, with a strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
  • Proficient in MS Office and financial analysis, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior contacts within the real estate and mortgage industries are advantageous, with the ability to successfully pass a background check.
