Your Role:
As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will be responsible for the processing and sterilization of medical and surgical instruments and supplies.

Your Contributions:
In this role, you will:
  • Exhibit adherence to policies and procedures by providing courteous service and assisting guests as needed.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and communicate any delays.
  • Engage with internal and external customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Additionally, you will prioritize tasks effectively and:
  • Prepare contaminated supplies for cleaning.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in sterilization and processing.
  • Current certification as a registered central service technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT).
  • Completion of educational requirements to maintain certification.
  • Successful completion of an accredited central service technician course or competency certification through a national organization (IAHCSMM or CBSPD).
  • Current Certified Surgical Technologist status may be considered based on experience in sterile processing.
