About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Coordinator to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a key member of our Surgical Department, you will be responsible for managing the instrument inventory, tracking system, and coordinating instrument and set changes with our service coordinators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the instrument inventory, including ordering, organizing, and storing instruments
  • Coordinate instrument repair and maintenance, and understand the functionality of the instrument tracking system
  • Collaborate with service coordinators for tray changes, onboarding new surgeons, and creating new trays
  • Adhere to AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician
  • Completed Sterile Processing core curriculum
  • Certification as an Instrument Technician
  • Sterile Processing & Distribution knowledge
