Job Summary

As a Central Sterile Processing Technician at AdventHealth Tampa, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by processing and sterilizing medical/surgical supplies and equipment. This is a full-time evening shift position, working 3pm - 11:30pm, Monday through Friday.

AdventHealth Tampa is a leading healthcare provider in the Tampa Bay area, known for its advanced cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and service, and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Central Sterile Processing team.

Responsibilities
Process and sterilize medical/surgical supplies and equipment
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Prioritize work through utilization of resource lists
Separate and prepare contaminated supplies for cleaning

Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
One year experience in processing and sterilization
Current status as a certified registered central service technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT)
Completion of educational requirements to maintain certification
Successful completion of an approved central service technician course or competency certification through national organization (IAHCSMM or CBSPD)
