Certified Sterile Processing Specialist

The Certified Sterile Processing Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care by processing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment for use in the operating room and other departments.
Key Responsibilities- Process and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of processing and sterilization activities
- Work independently with minimal supervision, handling multiple tasks and resolving issues as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience and certification as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST) or Certified Biomedical Equipment Support Professional (CBSPD) required
- Familiarity with medical supplies, O.R. routines, infection control principles, and regulatory practices required
