About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Tech to join our team at Florida Orthopaedic Institute. As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care by preparing and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of instrument and equipment sterilization processes
  • Ensure a clean and organized sterile processing area
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
