Job Summary:

The Veterinary Receptionist will be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greeting and welcoming clients and patients, answering questions and triaging client concerns, answering calls and directing to the appropriate party for resolution, scheduling appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, checking in and checking out clients and processing payments.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and patients.
  • Greet and welcome clients and patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Answer calls and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for clients and patients.
  • Check in and check out clients, processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably as a receptionist.
  • Experience with Cornerstone software is required.
  • Compassionate, calm, and team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized and possess strong computer skills.
  • Self-starter with a desire to continue advancing knowledge and skillset.
