Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technologist to join our team at the ASPCA. As a Veterinary Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert veterinary care to support the welfare of animals and their people through our stationary and mobile veterinary clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care to animals, including administering injections, intubating animals, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assist with patient exams, take medical history, and prepare medications for clients.
  • Work with veterinarians and assistants to provide essential services to pets and rescue animals.
  • Build a wide range of skills and use your education and license to its full extent.

Requirements:

  • Current New York State Veterinary Technician License.
  • Graduated from an accredited school of veterinary science technology (2 or 4 year program).
  • Strong interest in animal welfare.
  • Excellent animal handling skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
