The Israel Program at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies is seeking a Research Intern to support our team in conducting research on regional developments, politics, foreign relations, and national security in the Middle East. As an intern, you will work closely with senior staff members to develop project reports and other materials and participate in a twice-monthly speaker series featuring high-level DC officials and senior staff members.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as International Relations, Security Studies, History, Communications, Journalism, International Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, or relevant STEM fields
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Experience with research projects and data analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 22 hours per week
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

We offer a competitive stipend and the opportunity to earn academic credit for your internship. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $45,000-$55,000, depending on location and qualifications.
