About the Role

Talento Human Capital Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy.
  • Act as change agent to business through process design and approaches that support change and transformation.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions, including employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application, talent management, and organizational design consultation.
  • Partner with management on improving organizational effectiveness by analyzing departmental structures and evaluating options, studying resources, and ensuring optimal utilization.
  • Conduct ongoing supply and demand analysis on current and future state staffing and skill needs and design talent acquisition strategies to meet those needs.
  • Manage the talent acquisition function for assigned business units by understanding position requirements, managing recruitment assignments, and reducing the time to fill and determining sourcing strategies.
  • Actively participate in recruitment campaigns, job fairs, college relations programs, general networking, and other initiatives to ensure a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Grow and conserve a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Facilitate the process of candidate selection, interviewing, job offer, background check, and candidate onboarding details.
  • Co-facilitate the New Employee Onboarding program for new hires.
  • Continually champion the Employee Referral Bonus program, including proactive identification of internal talent matching and advancement.
  • Lead and/or support annual HR cycle deliverables, including performance management, merit and bonus awards, benefits enrollment, and other initiatives.
  • Evaluate issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs.
  • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for business units.
  • Partner with senior Human Resources leadership and appropriate company leaders to grow the capacity of the organization's key talent, including emerging talent identification and associated development programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience with proven results.
  • PHR/SPHR/GPHR certification preferred.
  • Proven ability to challenge and motivate management teams in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
  • Able to forecast and analyze business trends.
  • Ability to effectively utilize HR dashboard metrics with business groups.
  • Uses and is familiar with investigative techniques and teaches others.
  • Strong foundation and knowledge of HR principles and practice, including employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components, including sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, closing, and wage/salary trends.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational navigation skills and ability to develop others in this skill.
