ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct initial assessments: Engage with families and/or individuals to explain the services offered by the organization.
  • Provide continuous guidance and training to unlicensed direct care personnel.
  • Assign qualified Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure the highest quality of service delivery.
  • Participate in regular meetings for all clients under your supervision.
  • Review staff documentation for accuracy and completeness, making updates as needed.
  • Develop and maintain clinically appropriate objectives.
  • Collaborate with families and internal support teams to facilitate smooth transitions for individuals entering the program.
  • Foster positive, trusting relationships with colleagues, families, and individuals through effective communication.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and serve as a role model for professional ethics and standards.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in human services, including conducting assessments and providing in-home support.
  • Reliable access to transportation.
  • Willingness to travel within designated areas.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
