KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct initial assessments: Engage with families and individuals to outline the services offered by the organization.
- Provide continuous guidance and training to unlicensed direct care personnel.
- Assign qualified Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in regular meetings for all clients on the caseload, whether quarterly, annually, or as needed.
- Review and update staff documentation on a monthly and quarterly basis for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and maintain clinically appropriate objectives for clients.
- Collaborate with families and internal support teams to facilitate smooth transitions for individuals entering the program.
- Build and nurture positive, trusting relationships with colleagues, families, and clients through effective communication.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and serve as a role model for professional ethics and standards.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in human services, particularly in conducting assessments and providing in-home support.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within designated service areas.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
