Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of a client support specialist is to engage with customers to provide assistance and information regarding products and services while addressing and resolving any complaints.

A typical client support specialist is tasked with identifying the customer's issue, proposing potential solutions, or providing necessary follow-up.

Client support representatives may handle inbound calls, outbound communications, or a combination of both.

Resolve customer service or billing issues by performing tasks such as processing exchanges, issuing refunds, and adjusting invoices.

Communicate with customers to address inquiries or inform them of the results of claim investigations and any planned modifications.

Escalate unresolved customer complaints to appropriate departments for further review.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.

Essential skills include verbal and written communication, attention to detail, customer service proficiency, and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and effectively manage time is crucial.

Competence in accurately documenting and recording customer information is required.

Prior experience with software applications, such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, is necessary.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

2-4 years of experience in a customer service role is required.

Must possess basic skills in Google Sheets/Excel, foundational computer knowledge, and familiarity with the Microsoft Suite.

Comfort with phone interactions and strong customer service skills with external contacts are essential.

The role may involve data entry and potentially order picking when workload permits.
