Position Title: Financial Management Analyst

Role Overview:
We are in search of a proficient and proactive Financial Management Analyst to become a vital part of our team in a client-oriented capacity. As an integral member of our SAF/FM CIO team, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing financial operations, utilizing your expertise in Oracle, custom databases, Qlik, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to comprehend their financial management requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Leverage your comprehensive knowledge of financial management, Oracle, Qlik, and Power BI to analyze financial data, uncover trends, and produce visually engaging reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various feeder systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Assist in the deployment and upkeep of financial systems, offering guidance and support to end-users.
  • Perform detailed financial analyses, reconciliations, and audits to ensure regulatory compliance and identify potential improvement areas.
  • Provide financial advisory services to clients, offering insights and recommendations based on your expert analysis.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in financial management and technology, contributing innovative ideas to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support a hybrid work schedule, with 1-2 days per week on-site.

Qualifications:
  • Current security clearance required (Secret at a minimum).
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Financial Management Analyst, particularly within Air Force or DoD Headquarters.
  • Familiarity with Air Force legacy systems such as Automated Business Services System (ABSS), Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS), Automated Funds Management (AFM), Civilian Pay Accounting Interface System (CPAIS), Central Procurement Accounting System (CPAS), and Commanders' Resource.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems, Oracle, Qlik, and Power BI, with a proven track record of utilizing these tools to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to accurately interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on-site 1-2 days per week.

Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of SAF/FM systems is highly advantageous.
