Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst I will engage in a range of financial responsibilities related to grants and budget management. This role is essential in providing accounting and financial insights to assist the Assistant Director of Training. Effective communication and collaboration with a diverse team of clinicians and researchers are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct analysis of monthly budget expenditures to prepare and submit operational fiscal budgets for grants and special initiatives.
2. Review and monitor expenditures, including salary costs, while maintaining comprehensive databases for departmental financial activities.
3. Reconcile departmental databases with monthly reports from the Institute, identify discrepancies, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
4. Align monthly salary and revenue reports from the Institute with departmental records, analyze any inconsistencies, and process adjustments as required.
5. Oversee Institute reports to confirm that expenses related to departmental personnel are accurately charged and credited, investigate discrepancies, and recommend adjustments as needed.
6. Analyze provider data and generate weekly reports for each outpatient clinic.
7. Manage departmental purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and travel expense claims as necessary.
8. Support the Assistant Director in the development of departmental budgets, conduct research on historical financial data, and maintain proficiency in all departmental systems, reports, and processes.
9. Assist with special projects as directed by the Assistant Director.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications, particularly Excel and Access, is required.

Education:
- A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree is preferred.

Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, grant accounting, or related fields is preferred.
