Job Summary:

ThyssenKrupp Materials NA Inc is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from purchasing to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process, including purchasing, quoting, expediting, and de-expediting.
  • Utilize the Business Unit ERP to manage standard inventory items.
  • Manage supply chain to schedule material to meet stated inventory objectives.
  • Review and process return purchase orders.
  • Understand corporate objectives, including ROCE, sales, operations, and purchasing.
  • Purchase for Contractual Agreements and work with regions to evaluate risk and review alternatives.
  • General understanding of internal processing equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or other closely related fields.
  • 3-5 years purchasing experience.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and work on a day-to-day basis with purchasing mill contacts and internal customers.
