Job Summary:

Costco is seeking an IT Asset Management Analyst to join our team. As an IT Asset Management Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data on IT assets, including inventory, financial, and contractual information.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for IT asset management, including asset tracking, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure accurate tracking and receipt of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Manage and update inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Conduct regular audits of asset levels to identify discrepancies, losses, or surplus.
  • Collaborate with the fixed assets team to track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Provide reports and analysis on inventory status, trends, and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in IT.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow/CARTS system.
  • Experience in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheets, word processing tools, and Costco internal financial systems.
  • Good understanding of Costco Business operations.
  • Previous experience successfully managing multiple projects and tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes.
  • Willing to travel, occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays, carry an on-call phone, and be able to provide 24 X 7 on-call support coverage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with asset management accounting practices.
  • Experience with relational databases and/or programming skills.
