Inventory Control Specialist

**Job Summary**
Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team. As an Inventory Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating, monitoring, and coordinating inventory control activities to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient supply chain operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and create inventory count reports and lists, monitor inventory locations physically and electronically, and organize and administrate inventory control practices.
- Work with plant personnel to achieve desired inventory accuracy results, determine root cause for inventory errors, and make recommendations based on analysis of results.
- Interface regularly with all plant personnel and coordinate inventory control activities accordingly, assist planners by verifying inventory as needed.
- Develop and maintain standard processes for cycle counting, verify cycle counts and inventory transactions performed by plant personnel, and investigate and document errors.
- Assist with determining obsolescence and physical and electronic removal of obsolescence using acceptable methods, and assist Production Control department with other duties as needed.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must be skilled in MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook, as well as Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be skilled in using an SAP ERP/MRP system to query appropriate data, organize, and report out on that data.
- Material handling experience using hand-held scanners is helpful.
- Must be able to create and understand system-generated reports regarding inventory and production data.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong numerical analysis and data management skills.
- 2-4 years' related experience in production scheduling and planning, inventory control processes, or shipping/receiving/material handling in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, production, shipping/receiving, and inventory control functions.
- Experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing.
