Position Overview

Core Responsibilities:

The U.S. ION Endoluminal Territory Specialist reports to the U.S. ION Endoluminal Sales Manager (ESM). This role is vital in facilitating the early adoption of the Ion platform, enhancing access to minimally invasive procedures for lung biopsies. The individual will focus on supporting early sustainable users and programs, as well as developing key opinion leaders (KOLs) and initiatives that demonstrate the clinical, economic, and strategic advantages of ION.

Key Duties:
  • Deliver procedural assistance to new users to ensure safety and effective progression through their learning phases.
  • Support educational initiatives, including in-services, training labs, first case series, and the development of teams and programs.
  • Become a clinical authority in the pulmonary oncology domain.
  • Collaborate with senior hospital personnel and key physicians to devise and implement strategies for effectively integrating Ion at new customer locations, ensuring ongoing commitment and utilization of the system.
  • Facilitate essential user and procedural data collection to establish effective quality tracking and benchmarking metrics.
  • Work in conjunction with local da Vinci sales teams to ensure consistent alignment and communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities, including SFDC management and expense report submissions.
Qualifications

Required Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 1 year of sales, leadership, or clinical experience is required.
  • Proven ability to navigate complexity and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% and be located near a major airline hub.
  • Familiarity with the Pulmonology/Bronchoscopy field is advantageous.
