Salary

The annual salary for this role will be approximately $65,000 to $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This position is responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners and performing CT procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. The successful candidate will work together with physicians to perform a variety of specialized CT procedures, including setting up and adjusting equipment to obtain diagnostic images. They will also be responsible for positioning patients to obtain images of the area of interest, while respecting the patient's ability and comfort. Additionally, the technologist will obtain appropriate patient information for the procedure being completed and provide radiation protection to the patient, technologist, and anyone else in the area.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training, be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health. Previous experience in CT is preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role. The technologist must also be able to recognize emergent situations and activate assistance as needed.
