Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist at Parkview North Hospital, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. You will work together with physicians to perform a variety of specialized procedures, setting up and adjusting equipment to obtain high-quality images. Your attention to detail and ability to position patients safely and comfortably will be essential in obtaining the best possible results. You will also be responsible for providing radiation protection to patients, technologists, and others in the area, utilizing personal protective equipment and other guidelines as needed. In addition, you will recognize emergent situations and activate assistance as needed, adhering to Parkview Standards of Behavior.

Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training is required. Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is also necessary. Previous experience is preferred, but not required. You must be able to lift 50 lbs. and 100 lbs. shared lifting, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications, and be able to take call. Critical thinking skills and the ability to multi-task will be essential in this role.
