Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician 2nd Shift to join our team at Kraft Heinz Kendallville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic equipment and control systems associated with our building, production, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair all electrical/electronic equipment and control systems.
  • Coordinate with production to address any corrective maintenance required on assigned equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections on all production, building, and utilities equipment.
  • Participate in the development of detailed preventive maintenance plans.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvement on equipment and system design.
  • Troubleshoot and modify programs on existing programmable controllers and write new programs for existing and new programmable computers.
  • Analyze equipment failures and recommend/implement corrective actions.
  • Communicate with maintenance personnel on other shifts, as necessary, to ensure coordination of maintenance efforts on assigned equipment.
  • Work cross-functionally as a member of the operations team.

Requirements:

  • Electrical training/degree and experience in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC's and components.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing, quality standards, hygiene, work safety, etc.
