Position Overview:
The Residential Special Education Teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of clients at the Academy. This role is dedicated to addressing the unique educational requirements of students with special needs, including those with Special Education certifications and 504 plans.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Educational Development:
- Create and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
- Maintain a structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing necessary modifications based on evaluations.

2. Compliance and Coordination:
- Ensure adherence to all educational regulations set forth by relevant authorities.
- Act as the Educational Liaison, facilitating communication between the Academy and local schools.

3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and educational outcomes.
- Prepare and submit required reports to relevant stakeholders, ensuring compliance with educational standards.

4. Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with treatment teams to integrate educational goals with therapeutic services.
