Position Overview

Peraton is actively seeking a skilled Cyberspace Analyst to support the USCYBERCOM program. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and security of cyberspace operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cyberspace Analyst, you will:
  • Facilitate cybersecurity initiatives essential for the production of Mission Assurance (MA) deliverables, enhancing the effectiveness of cyberspace operations.
  • Represent USCYBERCOM by formulating and advising on necessary policies, regulations, and procedures for DODIN operations.
  • Evaluate proposed capabilities, suggest courses of action, and create solutions to address identified deficiencies.
  • Draft concept papers and technical documentation that outline mission assurance strategies for DOD implementation.
  • Assess the evolution of cyberspace capabilities to confirm alignment with USCYBERCOM mission assurance needs.
  • Synchronize capability requirements with innovative tactical applications of cybersecurity technologies.
  • Conduct research on emerging cyber threats and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), producing detailed assessments.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to promote information sharing and clarify complex concepts within USCYBERCOM.
  • Provide expert guidance on the identification and prioritization of cyberspace operational requirements and related processes.
  • Identify and characterize DOD tasks and Task Critical Assets (TCA) to inform resource allocation decisions.
  • Support planning and integration for cyberspace operations, identifying enhancements for mission effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the development of cybersecurity policy documents, including Cyber Strategy and Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Engage in the creation of new Mission Assurance Related Programs and Activities (MARPA).
  • Utilize automated systems such as the Strategic Mission Assurance Data System (SMADS) to identify critical DODIN assets.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to fulfill Commander's Cyber Mission assessment priorities.
Qualifications:

  • A minimum of six years of experience in a role related to Cyberspace Analysis or a similar field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities, along with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • An active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A comprehensive understanding of cyberspace operations and mission assurance topics.
  • Experience in facilitating DOD working groups and participating in tabletop exercises at the DOD component level.
  • Proven ability to provide detailed updates and briefings to senior leadership regarding cybersecurity operations.
