Key Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a skilled Cyberspace Analyst to support the USCYBERCOM program.

In this position, you will:

Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives essential for the delivery of Mission Assurance (MA) products aimed at facilitating, assessing, and reporting on cyberspace operations. As a representative of USCYBERCOM, you will:
  • Leverage expertise in cybersecurity to identify and map Mission Relevant Terrain in Cyberspace (MRT-C).
  • Conduct in-depth research on emerging cyber threats and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), providing assessments based on your findings.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to promote information sharing and articulate complex concepts within USCYBERCOM.
  • Offer technical guidance for the identification, development, and prioritization of cyberspace operations requirements, processes, and governing policies.
  • Identify and characterize DOD tasks and Task Critical Assets (TCA) to inform resource allocation and prioritization decisions.
  • Provide planning and integration support for cyberspace operations, identifying opportunities for mission enhancement.
  • Collaborate with team members to draft various cybersecurity policy documents, including Cyber Strategy and Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Contribute to the establishment of new Mission Assurance Related Programs and Activities (MARPA).
  • Utilize automated systems like the Strategic Mission Assurance Data System (SMADS) to identify DODIN task critical assets.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support Commander's Cyber Mission assessment priorities.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • At least six years of experience as a Cyberspace Analyst or in a related field.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level II Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities, along with strong communication skills.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • An active TS/SCI with poly security clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A comprehensive understanding of cyberspace operations and mission assurance topics.
  • Experience in facilitating DOD working groups and participating in DOD component-level tabletop exercises.
  • Proven ability to provide detailed updates and briefings to senior leadership regarding cybersecurity operations.
