About the Role

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Specialist to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) in Fort Meade, Maryland. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and prioritizing cyberspace operations requirements, processes, procedures, and governing directives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise to identify and prioritize cyberspace operations requirements, processes, procedures, and governing directives.
  • Monitor and analyze cyber incidents, health, performance, availability, and reliability of the DODIN.
  • Identify and prioritize issues affecting operations and support the creation, dissemination, and compliance of applicable orders and directives.
  • Develop and modify requirements to create capabilities based on the changing environment for government review, validation, and prioritization.
  • Analyze capability development requirements, concept of operation documents, and provide feedback.
  • Track and manage the status of USCYBERCOM Orders and Directives.
  • Prepare and deliver situational awareness and operational update briefs.
  • Participate in and provide input for command exercises.
  • Process inbound nickname requests for operations and create/update instructions to register new terms and track status of existing terms.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of experience as a Cyberspace Analyst or a related functional area.
  • Additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum DOD 8140/DOD 8570 IAM Level I Certification, CSSP Incident Responder, or CSSP Infrastructure Support.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Clearance Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • US citizenship.
