Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Cyber Operations Policy Specialist, delivering insightful analysis, strategic recommendations, and high-level guidance to facilitate effective Cyber Operations across various governmental and military levels.
  • Collect and analyze data to produce comprehensive written materials that support the client's strategic planning initiatives.
  • Offer the client a broader understanding of strategic, theater, or operational joint warfare concepts.
  • Lead and participate in strategic working group meetings that yield actionable outcomes.
  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on cyber-related strategies and policies from higher authorities.
  • Collaborate with Service Component Commands on strategic-related matters.
  • Engage in studies of emerging technologies to inform the development and execution of strategies.
  • Align strategies, policies, and guidance with other combatant commands, U.S. Government agencies, and international partners.
  • Support the formulation of interagency and coalition strategies on Cyber issues, ensuring that all authorities, concerns, and interests of the client are accurately represented.

Qualifications:

  • Over 15 years of experience as a Policy Analyst within the U.S. Government, Department of Defense, or Combatant Command focusing on military operations.
  • Proven experience in conducting research and analysis, contributing to the development and coordination of military operational strategies.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS), Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR), Unified Command Plan (UCP), and other strategic-level documents.
  • Experience working within OSD, DoD, Service, or Joint planning staffs.
  • Ability to develop forward-looking strategies that align with organizational goals and leadership vision.
  • Experience collaborating with senior military personnel.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.

Clearance Requirement:

TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is mandatory.
