Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell all products into all accounts, implementing Carvel pricing strategies and promotional pricing.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with supermarket personnel, resolving product or service problems promptly.
  • Execute merchandising standards and objectives at specific accounts, increasing sales through promotions and displays.
  • Manage and accurately track inventory, ensuring safety and completing pre-trip safety and maintenance inspections.
  • Load and unload product from delivery truck, rotating product and maintaining supermarket Carvel freezers in a neat manner.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in grocery, retail, food service, or related industries in a direct sales, customer service, delivery, or other related position.
  • Valid CDL class B License (must obtain within 30 days of employment) and a clean driving record.
  • Self-motivated, able to take initiative in decision making, and punctual and reliable in work attendance.
  • Professional and organizational and communication skills, with solid general computer, math, and analysis skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Driving required, while complying with all traffic laws and maintaining full DOT compliance.
  • Maintaining DOT required medical certification.
  • Extended periods of standing and sitting on a daily basis, with frequent climbing in and out of Company vehicle daily.
  • Lifting not to exceed 55 pounds, with frequent bending, twisting, turning, squatting, and kneeling while moving and merchandising product.
