Role Overview:
The Audio Visual Solutions Engineer is essential in ensuring that the project specifications presented to clients are accurately designed. This role is vital for aligning with customer requirements and safeguarding LDI from any technical oversights that could lead to revenue loss or reputational harm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Proficiency: Acquire an in-depth understanding of the company's ProAV offerings, including their features, functionalities, and technical specifications. Keep abreast of industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Sales Support and Solution Design: Work closely with the sales team to deliver pre-sales technical assistance, including system design and hardware specifications. Aid in crafting executable statements of work for the Project Manager.
- Knowledge Transfer: Educate sales team members on the technical aspects of products and services, enabling LDI resources to manage support inquiries and potential implementations effectively. Develop and update technical documentation to enhance internal product knowledge.
- Internal Relationship Management: Foster and maintain robust relationships with internal stakeholders through consistent communication and support. Serve as a liaison between manufacturers and internal teams, addressing technical issues and facilitating effective problem resolution.
- Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with the project manager during the implementation phase on ProAV setup and configuration. Provide post-sales technical assistance as required.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with ProAV technology.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with all members of the ProAV and general sales teams to drive revenue.
