Position: Maintenance Helper

Overview: We are currently seeking a Maintenance Helper to support our operations. This role is essential for maintaining the functionality of our facilities and ensuring a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular evaluations of building systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform inspections, collect data, and analyze results to verify the proper functioning of machinery.
  • Execute minor repairs and preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems, both inside and outside the facility.
  • Maintain all plumbing systems, including water supply and sanitation.
  • Assist with snow removal and other seasonal maintenance tasks.
  • Support engineering staff in various projects and tasks.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work any assigned shift.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as necessary.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in approach.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position involves significant walking, bending, kneeling, and working in various physical positions.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly wage along with health and welfare benefits in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
