Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to join our team at Residential One LLC. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in facilities management, maintenance operations, and team leadership.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our residential properties, ensuring that all facilities are safe, well-maintained, and meet the highest standards of quality. This includes managing a team of maintenance staff, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and developing and implementing maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of residential properties, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance and repair work.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair work, including tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including property management and leasing, to ensure that maintenance and repair work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facilities management and maintenance operations.
  • Strong background in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry work.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, including experience managing a team of maintenance staff.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and implement maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce costs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address maintenance issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
