Job Title: IT Project Manager

Milton CAT is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple medium to large-sized projects concurrently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects in varied environments and adapt to different project needs, constraints, and timelines.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, management, and coordination of all activities, including project health, status reporting, and problem resolution to IT Management.
  • Effectively communicate and manage project expectations and status to managers, owners, sponsors, team members, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal resources and third parties/vendors, utilizing best practices in project management, change management, and communication methods.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate in a clear and timely manner when appropriate.
  • Manage and track implementation issues/risks/scope creep to achieve a successful go live and stabilization phase.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong full life-cycle project management skills leveraging industry best practices and methodologies.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in IT Project Management, ERP experience a strong +.
  • Extensive experience with the software implementation life cycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with different and strong personalities.
  • Strong business and leadership skills. An ability to take the bull by the horns and make things happen.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn business processes.
  • Strong analytical, technical and organization skills.
  • Advanced MS Office acumen (Teams, SharePoint, Visio, Project, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to work with users at all levels within the organization.
  • Must be available for approximately 15% travel facilities within Upstate New York and New England.
  • Occasional night and weekend work as required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
