Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in the Dedicated Fleet operation, providing operational assistance to the Project Manager as needed. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain positive working relationships with drivers and provide regular communication of service issues to internal and external personnel.
  • Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources.
  • Coordinate daily data entry into TMW and ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks, including KPI/performance data reports.
  • Coordinate daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance and work with the safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance, and HOS issues.
  • Assist the Project Manager with implementing NFI's Safety, Security, and Labor policies.
  • Provide coverage throughout departments during vacations and holidays if necessary.
  • Manage and maintain driver payroll and audit and approve driver expense reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation.
  • Computer applications experience, including MS Office and TMW, strongly desired.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask.
  • Ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary.
