REQUIREMENTS:

SUPERVISION:
Reports to the Building Principal and Director of Food Services / Sodexho Marriott

OBJECTIVE:
The role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring efficient dining service. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service to all patrons consistently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Assist students in navigating the serving line and guide them to their designated tables as instructed by the principal. Engage with students during meal times to provide assistance and ensure cleanliness by wiping tables after each use.

Notify appropriate school staff of any behavioral issues arising among students. The hostess is not responsible for managing student behavior unless directed by the principal.
Maintain and tidy the condiment station as necessary.
Facilitate the organized disposal of trays and utensils at the end of each meal.

The Cafeteria Hostess is expected to understand and adhere to all relevant national, state, Sodexho Marriott Services, and school district policies, as well as health department regulations.

Additional food service-related tasks may be assigned by a supervisor.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS:
Position is based on a nine-month schedule. Compensation will be determined by the Board of Education.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW:
Job performance will be assessed annually in accordance with the Board's evaluation policies.
