Position Overview:Key Responsibilities:
- Input charges, submit claims, post remittances, manage rejections, and review accounts receivable.
- Recover overdue accounts and set up payment plans with patients.
- Maintain Medicare bad-debt cost reports, process claims for professional services, and specialty care.
- Adhere to work policies and procedures while ensuring daily productivity.
- Engage in educational opportunities and maintain professional standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Essential:
- On-site work required.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, analytical skills, conflict resolution, teamwork, and customer service abilities.
- Desirable:
- 1-2 years of recent experience in medical billing.
- Certification as a Community Health - Coding and Billing Specialist (CH-CBS).
- Proficiency in billing software and internet applications.
