Key Responsibilities:
As the Vice Principal, you will assist the principal in the overall management of educational programs and campus operations. Your role will include:

1. **Instructional Leadership**
- Collaborate in the development and assessment of educational initiatives.
- Foster innovative teaching practices and support educators in implementing new strategies.
- Advocate for the integration of technology in the educational experience.

2. **School Environment**
- Cultivate a positive and nurturing atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Engage sensitively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Communicate effectively with students and staff to promote a collaborative environment.

3. **Campus Improvement**
- Contribute to the creation of campus improvement strategies alongside staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Assist in developing systems to monitor and enhance campus performance and academic success.

4. **Personnel Oversight**
- Observe and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Support the principal in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.

5. **Administrative Duties**
- Oversee daily operations in the absence of the principal.
- Participate in scheduling classes, assigning teachers, and organizing extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare budget requests based on program needs.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as district policies.

6. **Student Engagement**
- Ensure adequate supervision of students during non-instructional times.
- Develop and implement a discipline management system that promotes positive behavior.
- Conduct meetings with parents, students, and teachers regarding school-related matters.

7. **Professional Development**
- Engage in ongoing professional growth to enhance job-related skills.

8. **Community Relations**
- Communicate the school's mission to the community and initiate programs to address community needs.
- Foster community and parental involvement through effective engagement strategies.

Supervisory Role:
Share supervisory responsibilities for professional staff with the principal, overseeing teachers, support staff, and other assigned personnel.

Work Environment:
- Standard office equipment, including computers and peripherals.
- Frequent prolonged or irregular hours with district and statewide travel.
- Maintain emotional control under stress and manage frequent interruptions.

Job Type:
Full-time

Compensation:
$74,104,198.00 annually
