Job Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and send invoices for completed projects and services rendered.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collections.
  • Communicate with clients regarding outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and payment histories.
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to ensure accurate billing.
  • Assist in the development of billing procedures and policies.
  • Process credit applications and perform credit checks on new customers.
  • Generate regular reports on accounts receivable status and collections.
  • Support month-end closing activities and assist in financial audits as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
