At SCA Health, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and supporting our healthcare professionals. As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the credentialing processes for our medical staff, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement the credentialing processes for physicians and allied health practitioners, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records.
- Manage clinical affiliations and ensure proper credentialing for all medical staff.
- Maintain credentialing databases and online systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Monitor the completion of CAQH applications and re-attestations for providers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant credentialing experience is required.
- Preferred certification: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or a related credential.
- Experience in a matrixed environment is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is preferred.
Compensation
Hourly wage ranges from USD $22.00 to USD $26.00.
