Role Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for delivering exceptional, patient-focused care by designing and implementing tailored therapy programs for individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges. As part of the healthcare team, you will conduct thorough patient evaluations and set appropriate treatment objectives. Additionally, you will serve as an educator for patients, families, and fellow staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language capabilities through conversational evaluations and standardized tests.
  • Develop and execute personalized therapy plans aimed at enhancing communication skills.
  • Regularly assess patient progress and modify treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, including treatment notes and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director and medical staff regarding patient assessments and treatment placements.
Qualifications Required:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
